[00:00:15] Speaker A: This is outside the round with Matt Barrel for Raise Rowdy podcast. [00:00:20] Speaker B: All right, we rolling. Ike, tailgate and tollboys day three, how we doing? Yay. It's very early. Everybody is recovering. My voice is completely shot today. Cause we did the after party with Cliffy D last night and man, did it get fucking aggressive. It was wild. Saw all kinds of shit. Understand why DJ Cliffy D is the best in the business and works here with the tailgate and tall boys, folks. He does such a good job being an ambassador to this, to this brand. And he's the man. We love, DJ Cliffy D. And we love this lineup that we have today. Once again, my name is Matt Barrel. Everybody looking at me like, who's this idiot talking to a microphone? Well, you're going to see me. You're going to see this idiot talking into a microphone on the main stage and battling to see if I can keep my voice all weekend. We have got a great lineup in store for day three. Landon, disconnect that bluetooth bud. And we've got a great, we've got a great lineup this weekend. And Saturday, day three is definitely in that vein. Starting out on the main stage, we've got the home team, the boys from Lakeview, we got our boy Nate Smith. We got Chase rice. And then we got the hometown kid. He actually got here on Thursday night and he's just been fucking partying all weekend with the homies. Bailey frickin Zimmerman. You're excited for Bailey Zimmerman. You've even got Bailey Zimmerman. You've got his picture on your sneakers which it blows my mind. I've never seen somebody wear artist face on the sneakers. That's, that is commitment. That is commitment right there and then. We've got a great lineup on the side stage two. Nikki T is going to be hosting the side stage this weekend, which has been awesome. And we love the side stage, particularly with raised rowdy because you get to see the guys and girls are on the come up where you're like, oh shit, I saw so and so on the side stage now they're selling out arenas and stadiums and all kinds of stuff. So this today on the side stage we've got Taylor Holder closing it out at 07:00 we've got our, our buddy dipper on at five. And then we got our first podcast, guest of the day, a dude from LA, Louisiana and spent time in Mississippi. I'm sure he knows all about ricks in Starkville and knows all about that crazy shit. His name is Locade. He's a new guy on the scene, and we're going to get him to come sit down with us right now and just kind of get right into it. Is it feedbacking out there? Ike, we got a. Probably. No, we're good. Okay. That's just the trucks and shit over there. Oh, there it is. There's the feedback. That's what I was asking you. All right, so I think we're. I think we're good now. We're battling the wind and shit. My brother, Lecade, what is your real name? Cade. Cade, what's your last name? [00:03:05] Speaker C: Brinkley. [00:03:05] Speaker B: Kade Brinkley. So where'd the name locate kind of come from? Why'd we go that route? [00:03:10] Speaker C: Had a guy in high school, and he would call everybody like, Lil, right? Oh, your names? [00:03:15] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:03:15] Speaker C: Max. He'd be like, little Max. [00:03:17] Speaker B: Little Max. [00:03:17] Speaker C: You know, little Bob. Like the way his accident Louisiana accent sound, like he was saying, hey, locade. [00:03:22] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:03:22] Speaker C: And so it just kind of stuck. [00:03:23] Speaker B: That's cool, dude. Yeah, I grew up watching, like, swamp people and shit with my dad and hearing those accents and then going out on tour and having the pleasure of going to places like Baton Rouge, Monroe Scott, Lafayette. Like, you hear the accents and the Cajun culture. You guys have the best food. [00:03:40] Speaker C: Oh, we do. [00:03:41] Speaker B: And I'm a northeastern guy. I grew up in the mecca of pizza and sandwiches and fucking delis and all this good stuff. There is nothing like going. Driving through Louisiana, pulling over to a gas station and getting duck tacos, getting boo dam balls, getting all the good shit that you guys have. [00:03:59] Speaker C: Hawaiian shit. [00:03:59] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:04:00] Speaker C: Hell, yeah, dude. We gotta drive through liquor stores, too, man. Just drive through there and get. [00:04:03] Speaker B: You got. Yeah. You can drive through liquor store in Louisiana and get you a strawberry daiquiri. [00:04:08] Speaker C: You can drive through, get a daiquiri and a pack of Marlboro Reds. [00:04:10] Speaker B: Yeah, a hurricane. You can do all kinds of stuff. So how long have you been up in Nashville now? [00:04:16] Speaker C: Just made a year. [00:04:17] Speaker B: Congrats, dude. The biggest step is just getting there, bro. That's what I always tell people, because I have a lot of friends. Like, we get to see kids as they're. As they're coming up with razor outdy, with all. Vern. You look good in that hat, by the way. Thanks for repping, dog. So how you been liking it a year in town? [00:04:31] Speaker C: Yeah, it's cool, man. I have a lot of fun. I've made a lot of friends up there. It's kind of a culture shock, though, coming from, like, you know, like 900 population towns and shit. [00:04:40] Speaker B: Yeah, dude, you got like 900. You got like 900 people in 1 bar on Broadway, right? [00:04:45] Speaker C: Exactly. [00:04:45] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:04:45] Speaker C: There's more people on Broadway than there is in my hometown, which is crazy. [00:04:49] Speaker B: Dude, which is wild. And it's cool seeing the crew that you've got out with you on the road. Two guys that I am very close with, Luke Robinson Hunt guitar. I remember when Luke first moved to Nashville from South Carolina. He was my roommate. I was his first roommate in town. We lived in fucking Antioch together, bro. And me and Luke had some times, he showed me all these different bands and stuff. And we get up in the morning and wake and bake and have some coffee together and Luke's the man. And then you got our boy, Mister Rowdy himself, yin's guy over there, Mister Max King, helping you out. So he's a character. How's it been being on the road and stuff now because you're in town, were you doing touring and things like that? [00:05:27] Speaker C: I think this is our like 6th show as a band. I think my 7th ever. [00:05:31] Speaker B: Wow. [00:05:32] Speaker C: So still pretty new. It's fun though. [00:05:34] Speaker B: It's a good place to be doing it. [00:05:35] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. [00:05:36] Speaker B: Did you go to a lot of festivals like growing up and stuff? There weren't. There aren't two. I'm trying to think of any festivals that are in Louisiana. [00:05:42] Speaker C: Not too many. [00:05:43] Speaker B: There's like the mud parks and stuff, but that's not quite like this. [00:05:46] Speaker C: Yeah, we didn't go to much, to be honest with you. Like, we were just homebody people really. We didn't go out much. So it's cool though to get to see it now, like at an age where I can like go out there and have a beer and enjoy it. [00:05:55] Speaker B: Yeah, enjoy a good surfside. What do you think of that? [00:05:58] Speaker C: It's pretty good. [00:05:58] Speaker B: It's pretty good. It tastes like iced tea and it doesn't have all the shit that other brands have where it gives you the hangover and stuff. [00:06:04] Speaker C: Yeah, I actually like it a little bit better in twisted tea. [00:06:06] Speaker B: Yeah. Cause it's not gonna give you the hangover. They're crushable, right? That's what Nikki says. They're crushable. They're good. So as far as on your show, what can we expect from you? Six, six or seven shows in? So you're new to this thing? [00:06:21] Speaker C: Yeah, dude, pretty new to it, man. But, you know, I just bring the energy the best I can, man. It's fun. We have a great time, you know, we like to play like a couple unreleased songs, like that type vibe, you know, just getting the getting the fans ready because we don't have a lot out. [00:06:33] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:06:33] Speaker C: You know what I'm saying? [00:06:34] Speaker B: That's what's kind of crazy is like, and it's cool that you're on the same day as a guy like Bailey Zimmerman because Bailey. Similar kind of thing where there was this attention that kind of came, and then you move. You move the town, and then the ball just kind of starts. Starts rolling, dude. And you work hard in town, but you, you're like, how old are you? [00:06:52] Speaker C: 21. [00:06:53] Speaker B: Yeah. You're a kid. You're figuring this out in the. In the moment, and, like, did you get. Did you do the college thing or. [00:06:59] Speaker C: No, dude, I was enrolled, like, legally, but I didn't go. Yeah, I dropped. [00:07:05] Speaker B: So you're going to honky tonk you right now. You are going to your college. Classes are getting in the writing room, are going to festivals like this. Your class project is playing tailgate and tallboys, the side stage in Bloomington, Illinois. [00:07:18] Speaker C: This is the end of the semester grade. [00:07:20] Speaker B: Dude, that's wild. How grateful are you to be able to get to do this for a living? What were you doing before the music stuff kind of got going? [00:07:28] Speaker C: It's a blessing, man. [00:07:29] Speaker B: What were you doing back in Louisiana before music? [00:07:32] Speaker C: So in Louisiana, I was working as a car detailer, and then in Mississippi, right after high school, I was working as a. At a pizza place. [00:07:41] Speaker B: Wow. [00:07:41] Speaker C: Making pizzas and delivering them. [00:07:43] Speaker B: And now here you are. [00:07:45] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:07:45] Speaker B: Doing this. Yeah. [00:07:46] Speaker C: It's a big step up from making pizzas. [00:07:48] Speaker B: Yeah. Where in Mississippi were you? [00:07:49] Speaker C: Hattiesburg. [00:07:50] Speaker B: Oh, I love Hattiesburg, bro. [00:07:52] Speaker C: Hattiesburg. [00:07:52] Speaker B: Brewskis. Brewskis. Shout out to Brewskis in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, if any of the folks from down there are listening. I used to be on the road with Trey Lewis. I was his tour manager, and I was out with the Muscadine bloodline guys. And Gary Stanton is a southern Miss grad from Muscadine, and he got his start. His first shows ever were playing in a cover band at Brewski's. [00:08:13] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:08:13] Speaker B: So he. There's a lot of history that we've got in Hattiesburg and that good seafood down there and the beautiful women, and Hattiesburg is. That's a cool spot to be. So you kind of get to see a little bit of the scene that's down there, but make that full jump to Nashville. [00:08:28] Speaker C: It's close to New Orleans, so if you want to go party. Oh, dude, it's like an hour and. [00:08:31] Speaker B: 25 minutes in near Biloxi. [00:08:33] Speaker C: Yeah, near Biloxi. Yeah. [00:08:33] Speaker B: Yeah. Which is funny. Cause I. They used to give me shit for this. And they're your folks that we listening. Cause we're gonna be airing this podcast over there. We're gonna be airing these live pods over the next few weeks. There's gonna be some. Some folks back in Mississippi listening to this. I used to call it. I got roasted by Trey Lewis and his whole crew. Cause most of them were from Alabama. I grew up in New York, so I had never heard of Biloxi. But my only way of knowing that town was Fred Durst on the family values tour back in the day with limp Bizkit. Came out and sang outside with Aaron Lewis, and in the song he goes, Biloxi. [00:09:08] Speaker C: Biloxi. [00:09:09] Speaker B: He called it Biloxi. So I thought my whole life that it was Biloxi, Mississippi. And I got roasted by those Alabama boys for calling that beautiful coastal casino town Biloxi. So that whenever, whenever we go. Whenever we would go to Mississippi, train be like, are we going to Biloxi Brew? We going to Biloxi? And I get. I'd get a bunch of shit. So what are you excited about? We got all. We got all this. All this fair food over here. We got all the campers parked out there. What are you excited? Cause you didn't go to a lot of. Have you played any festivals or is this kind of the first one? [00:09:41] Speaker C: We played one. The first one, it was. It was a hub fest in Hattiesburg. It was the first bancho. Yes, we played that one. So this would be my second. But honestly, this is a bigger scale. Yeah, way bigger scale than hub fest. Honestly, I'm just excited to see everybody else play, dude. Yeah, I'm saying, like, I want to see what it's about. [00:09:57] Speaker B: You get to be on the same lineup on the. On the side stage as. As guys like Dipper. There's a guy coming up, similar situation to you coming out of Texas. And then you've got Taylor Holder, who obviously a lot of folks know. I think we're going to have Taylor come on this pod in a little while. And then on the main stage, Lakeview. Fucking badass. I don't know if you've seen those boys before, but they rock. They're a straight rock band. Bailey Zimmerman in his hometown, bro. [00:10:24] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, this is gonna be. [00:10:25] Speaker B: Bailey got here on Thursday, and he's been partying all weekend. He took the weekend off and they parked the buses, and they have just been raging all weekend. [00:10:38] Speaker C: I bet they have. [00:10:39] Speaker B: So that show tonight in his home state, his hometown is gonna be sick. Chase rice, you can hear him right there. Chase rice is sound checking out there right now, which is really cool. [00:10:48] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:10:49] Speaker B: And then Nate Smith puts on a hell of a show. So to be on a line with all those guys, pretty freaking cool. [00:10:54] Speaker C: I mean, it's kind of unbelievable. [00:10:55] Speaker B: Eric church played this thing last night. [00:10:57] Speaker C: Yeah, I heard. [00:10:58] Speaker B: Which was wild. [00:10:59] Speaker C: Yeah. But that was a good show. [00:11:00] Speaker B: You guys showed. How was the ride coming up? What are you guys traveling around in? [00:11:03] Speaker C: Oh, we actually took my truck. [00:11:04] Speaker B: Oh, you guys packed in the truck? [00:11:06] Speaker C: In the truck. Bad habits actually just redid my truck. [00:11:09] Speaker B: What kind of, what kind of truck you drive? [00:11:10] Speaker C: It's a Ford f 150. [00:11:12] Speaker B: Ford f 150. So you being a truck guy, you gotta love the truck show aspect of this. There's some great vendors. We got BMC lights over there. We got elevate. We've got all kinds of. All kinds of insane trucks. I don't know how you get in that thing over there. I really don't. I don't know how you get in a. Persistence. Persistence. [00:11:30] Speaker C: Persistence. [00:11:31] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. It's like your bag. It's like your bag. It's like you're back. Back in the dirty, dirty and the mud bogs and stuff. It's wild. But they got so many different, like, rigs and trucks, and that's a great part of this festival, the Max truck show, which is cool because Bailey and his family are actually involved in that, because Bailey came up working on trucks. So that big white truck that's parked on the left side of the stage is actually Bailey's truck, which is really cool. It's badass truck, so it's exciting. So what do we have to look forward to as far as new music and stuff from you, man? [00:11:59] Speaker C: We're just going to keep putting these singles out. The best music we can, you know. Might get a album. We'll see. [00:12:05] Speaker B: Yeah. Are you, are you, like, signed anywhere? Like, what's the deal? [00:12:08] Speaker C: I'm with big machine. [00:12:09] Speaker B: With big machine. I actually just did a pod with, oh, Chase McDaniel not so long ago. He's over there, too. [00:12:15] Speaker C: He's a good guy. [00:12:16] Speaker B: They built, they built. They've always had a good roster over there, but they built. They've really built it up here. [00:12:20] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. [00:12:20] Speaker B: Recently, so. Sure. Excited for you, dude, and appreciate you coming on and hanging, hanging with us. Enjoy the. Enjoy the surfside and enjoy the vibes. We're going to be introducing you over on the side stage, which we're very excited about. [00:12:32] Speaker D: Awesome. [00:12:33] Speaker B: Dude. And then one last thing. There's all this fair food going on right now. [00:12:38] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:12:39] Speaker B: What's your. Like, you have to have it at a fair kind of thing. You a funnel cake guy? You a corndog guy? You're interested in that Mac daddy sandwich thing over there? Like, what are. What are we. What. What is on Cade's festival? Kind of essential. [00:12:52] Speaker C: I don't know if they'll have it here, but do you want the Louisiana option? [00:12:55] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:12:56] Speaker C: Alligator on a stick. [00:12:57] Speaker B: Alligator on a stick. He's looking for alligator on a stick. Is Matt Max tour managing for it? Yeah, Max TM. You got to find him. Alligator on a stick. That's what he's looking for. On a fast. [00:13:07] Speaker C: Alligator on a stick. [00:13:08] Speaker B: They don't have any alligators up here. It might be a little hard, but we'll find you something. We'll find you something on a stick, for sure. [00:13:14] Speaker C: It tastes like chicken. Kind of such a. I'm sure it's awesome. [00:13:18] Speaker B: Well, well, thank you for joining us, brother, and excited to see you. Locade will be on the stage. What time do you go on? [00:13:25] Speaker C: 315. [00:13:26] Speaker B: 315 on the side stage. I'll go over and see our boy lekade. They got the band in town. I can't wait to see my boy Luke Robinson, too, man. Oh, he's so cool. [00:13:34] Speaker C: He's going to shred that thing, bro. [00:13:35] Speaker B: And it's cool, too, because, like, watching him, he came up in, like, the worship world, so he's used to jamming and doing it that way. But I'm so proud of him and so happy you have him out on the road as well. And have Max and all these boys. So it'll be. It'll be a fun day. So y'all make some noise for the cade one time. Well, there we go. Hell, yeah. Well, we'll be back with more interviews here on this outside the round. Live at Tailgate and Tallboys, day three in Bloomington, Illinois. Alrighty. Well, we are back live at Tailgate and Tall boys, Bloomington, Illinois. We are recovering because of that man right there. That man put on a badass after party. [00:14:17] Speaker D: Top ten of after parties we've been to. [00:14:19] Speaker B: Yes. My. My voice is fucking toast, dog. My voice is toast. It's been a. It's been a blast of a weekend, and we still have all of today and all of tomorrow going on, which is just gonna be insanity. Everybody's recovering right now because Cliffy D. Killed everyone at the damn afterparty. But once again, is Matt Berrill. We got Nikki T. Over there. And this is outside the round, live at Tailgate and Tallboys 2024. How you doing, ladies? Stop by. We got all kinds of shit at the merch table. Come check it out. We've got our man, our master of ceremonies, if you will. He's partnered up on all the tailgate and tall boys. He was with us last week in Clinton, Iowa. And you are the degenerate at large. And we love you for it comes from the great state of Missouri. We've got Mister Alex Holom. Y'all make some noise for Alex out there. [00:15:05] Speaker A: Let's go. [00:15:06] Speaker B: Hell yeah. Hell yeah. [00:15:08] Speaker A: Thank you for being here with us. We assume you're hungover like we are. [00:15:11] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:15:12] Speaker B: How are you feeling, Mike? [00:15:13] Speaker D: Well, we'll just put it at this. I think I puked 15 times yesterday. [00:15:16] Speaker B: 15 times. Can security can confirm that? Content can confirm that, brother. I mean, last weekend was dope, and this weekend's just like, on another level. [00:15:29] Speaker D: Dude, the big thing about this one verse last weekend is a lot younger crowd, a lot rowdy. And we got the campsite that you can pregame it till 06:00 a.m. and fucking by 02:00 p.m. you're ready to be after. I mean, you're plastered, so. [00:15:40] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:15:41] Speaker D: The amount of people who got kicked out before Eric Church out of the super vip was hilarious last night. [00:15:45] Speaker B: Yeah, dude, it was wild. And we were up hanging out in that vip. In that super vip area. I was ripping a cigar with our boy over there and, dude, like, we. [00:15:55] Speaker A: Got some more cigars, too. [00:15:56] Speaker B: Don't worry, we have plenty more cigars for you. What's it. What's it been like going to events like this and going to festivals? [00:16:05] Speaker D: Dude, it's the most badass shit because I'm a country boy. I love country music. In my fan base is people who like country music and getting rowdy. So it's like, what better place than a country music festival? That's just a huge fucking party. Yeah, it's a blast. [00:16:19] Speaker A: These boys do it right, too. [00:16:20] Speaker D: Like, oh, yeah. [00:16:21] Speaker A: They put the emphasis on making sure that everyone parties. I love the after party. Late night people come up with me. [00:16:26] Speaker D: And they're like, you don't really drink like you do online. I'm like, I puke 15 times. They move. I really drink like that. [00:16:31] Speaker B: Trust me, what you see is what you get. I'm Alex Polam. This is what I do. So what kind of your backstory? Cause we met last week in Clinton and talked a little bit on DM. On DM'S? Leading up to Iowa last week, how did you kind of get into doing what you were doing and what were you doing before that? [00:16:46] Speaker D: So growing up, deconstruction. I mean, just typical small town stuff. My family owned a family construction business. Did that. Got into bodybuilding, actually. I know I used to compete in Vince McMahon. [00:17:00] Speaker B: Wow. [00:17:00] Speaker D: That was before the 6000 beers. [00:17:02] Speaker A: But, you know, hey, you get it honest, you know? [00:17:05] Speaker D: Yeah, but, yeah. And then I started. I met a kid on a cruise ship who was famous on vine. My best friend to this day. Shout out, Edward. This was 2015. [00:17:17] Speaker B: Wow. [00:17:17] Speaker D: So nine years ago, and we're still best friends this day. And he was a kid from Seattle. I was a small town kid from New Franklin, didn't know nothing about social media, and I was like, man, this life looks cool. And so we didn't have any wifi at my dad's house. So I drive to my mom's in town or, like, go sit in, like, the new. This cool parking lot and, like, stream on, like, LTE and shit. And I started livestreaming, then just worked through platforms. Platforms. TikTok popped off. And then I had a video where I dropped an iPhone off a ten story parking garage and grew 100,000 followers, like, overnight. [00:17:43] Speaker A: Dang. [00:17:44] Speaker D: And it just shattered. The iPhone almost fell off the fucking parking garage. So that's what I do for content for you fuckers. [00:17:48] Speaker B: But that's ridiculous. [00:17:50] Speaker D: So I grew to 1.7 million. I kind of went through, like, a real, like, dark phase in life and stopped posting, stopped doing anything. Moved back home, just fished every day, hung out with my family, the dogs, and started doing the interviews and shit. Like it. Because I'm like, I'm already getting drunk at the bars. Let's have some fun with it. [00:18:06] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:18:06] Speaker D: Started asking people, like, would you suck your dad's dick to save your mom's life? Just fucked up shit that nobody's gonna ask, but that's really who I am, so I'm gonna ask you. You can't answer that. Like, there's no way to answer it. There's one. Your mom's dying once you're gay. So it's like, you know, and I don't know. Then I started seeing the high schoolers, like, asking people, like, who's the hottest person at the school? And then they go up to and ask him and they just keep going, keep going. And I'm like, you know, I'm gonna do that drunk and get somebody to kiss. And at that point, it was game over. [00:18:31] Speaker C: First. [00:18:31] Speaker D: The first video I ever had. I was like, what do you think of this girl? He goes, she's the hottest girl. Heck. What do you think about him? He goes, zero. He fucked my best friend. [00:18:38] Speaker B: Oh. [00:18:39] Speaker D: And it came returns to me, and I'm like. And I got, like, 3 million, and then the next one, I got a kiss, and it got, like, 4 million, and then it just went crazy. I was pulling, like, 100 to 200 million views a month on ticks. I'm over a million followers in four months. [00:18:50] Speaker B: Yeah, that's cool. [00:18:51] Speaker D: Crazy went crazy. [00:18:52] Speaker B: When you talk about, like, the dark face, that's something like being a creator and doing what you do. [00:18:57] Speaker D: It had nothing to do. It was. It was a psychoass ex girlfriend. Oh, nothing to do with. I was gonna say that bitch. [00:19:02] Speaker B: It's like you hear it with artists and songwriters and stuff too, because that's creative on another side, another lane. And people in Nashville go through that as well. You know, we kind of get. Yep, you get. [00:19:13] Speaker D: People just always see the glory of it. Like, they don't really see, like, a lot of times behind the scenes of shit, which me, like, I'm happy as hell right now, but, like, it was just a psycho ass ex girlfriend who made me feel like I was worthless. [00:19:22] Speaker A: It happens to the best of all. [00:19:23] Speaker B: We've all. We've had them. [00:19:25] Speaker D: I almost stage dived off a seven story building. I was on the edge. But, hey, if you're on the edge, you don't got a job, man. Life will get better, I promise you. [00:19:31] Speaker B: Exactly. Then you will end up having a great weekend, like we're having. [00:19:35] Speaker D: Exactly. Getting drunk with hot women in Bloomington, Illinois, baby. [00:19:39] Speaker B: We love that. So where has the rowdiest area been for you? Here in Bloomington? [00:19:45] Speaker D: In Bloomington? [00:19:46] Speaker B: As far as the campgrounds and stuff. [00:19:48] Speaker D: Go, I mean, n 17 was pretty lit last night. They kid came up to me drunk as pissed. [00:19:52] Speaker B: Oh, you went out to the bars after? [00:19:54] Speaker D: No, we went to the campsite, but they were, like, telling everybody, n 17, there's probably, like, 60 people over there. Wow, pretty fun. But I was fucking dead. That was about 15 pukes later, and I was. Body was done, but they were still housing them. Some kids like, shotgun. I'm like, dude, it's gonna come out all over the fire if I shotgun. We're not doing that shit right now. [00:20:09] Speaker B: This fire's gonna go out. [00:20:10] Speaker D: But, man, that after party last night was fucking rowdy. That was a good time. You know, you all day and then go all night with the after party. Shout out to the people here, man. [00:20:18] Speaker B: Yeah, dude, they do Austin, Wayne, the entire crew. [00:20:22] Speaker D: Shout out to the whole fucking tailgate and tall boys. Honestly, bro, it's like, shout out to Austin. [00:20:29] Speaker B: It's like. It's like, obviously, this lineup is insane. Oh, dude wise, it's just abs. [00:20:35] Speaker D: What's cool about Clinton is, is it was more of a rock country. You know, you got shinedown, you got jelly roll. Who tailors all of it. That was badass. And then here you got more like traditional country. Cody Johnson, Eric Church, Riley Green, and the bailey's. Kind of like everything. So it's definitely a great ass lineup. [00:20:53] Speaker B: Yeah. And then to have the truck show as a part of it. Oh, dude, badass camping as a major feature with all the campers out there. And it becomes something that folks in this area and within, like, 100, 200 miles radius mark on their calendar. [00:21:05] Speaker D: Oh, yeah. [00:21:06] Speaker B: And making their summer plan, that's kind of how raised rowdy got started. Was going to a festival similar to this in Ohio, near where Nick was from in western Pennsylvania. And it's like, it becomes part of the culture of the area. [00:21:16] Speaker D: Dude. The best thing is, like, with camping, it's like you start at 06:00 a.m. you wake up, you can get fucking tossed in the campground. And then you come in, you know, with, like, Clinton that people would show up sober. And that ain't no fun to be sober. So you gotta get drunk on expensive ass beers and shit over there. You just drink all you want. Moonshine. I had some moonshine last night. Apple pie. Ooh, buddy, I tasted the apple cinnamon in that motherfucker. It was good. [00:21:39] Speaker A: What is. What is your drink of choice in regular? [00:21:42] Speaker D: Okay. Happy dad number one. Yeah, but if I'm not drinking that crown Peach is bright. Yeah, with rounds with orange peach. [00:21:48] Speaker A: I have had some other people that are like, live and die by crown. [00:21:51] Speaker B: Hey, if you go on Langston big Crown. [00:21:53] Speaker D: If you go to the artist hospitality, ask them how many bottles of crown Peach I went through in the last two weeks. [00:21:57] Speaker B: Wow. You'll have to check it with Emily. [00:21:59] Speaker D: And I've been housing them. [00:22:01] Speaker B: Yeah. And what have some of the interactions been like with the artists that you've gotten over the past, over the past two weeks? [00:22:06] Speaker D: Amazing, man. We were with Bailey yesterday for a while. Partying, brother. Super cool, man. Good people. We got a lot of mutual friends, so that worked out well. But no, it's cool, dude. Everybody from top to bottom, we met jelly rolls, a whole band. We were partying with them on their bus after last weekend. So that was cool as hell and no. Everybody's just been so freaking cool. My buddy Parker gets cool. He gets to do shit like this. So he's a huge country music fan. So he was chopping it up with Cody Johnson's fiddle player, and I thought he was like a kid in a candy shop. So it was cool to see that. [00:22:33] Speaker B: That's what's so cool about the way being involved with the festival like we are this year. It's really cool because you get to see what's back there, but then you still get to come out and experience it. Now, did you grow up going to a lot of festivals and stuff? [00:22:47] Speaker D: But Missouri don't have a lot, like county fair. [00:22:49] Speaker B: State? County. [00:22:50] Speaker D: Yeah, state. Our state fair is like the bread and butter of Missouri, which is cool. That's where I've seen Florida, Georgia line. I've seen Carrie Underwood, I've seen Sarah Evans, I've seen Jayco and Lee, Bryce, chase Rice, all them. So just like that was the main thing. Bazoo arena a little bit. I saw toby keith, my first ever concert rested. Piece of that legend. [00:23:07] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:23:08] Speaker D: My stepdad at the time waited in line for 6 hours. He gave me front row tickets, me and my mom. [00:23:12] Speaker B: Wow. [00:23:12] Speaker D: Toby actually gave me his straw hat. I still have it to this day somewhere crazy. That's cool. [00:23:17] Speaker B: That's really cool, dude. So who are you excited about today? Obviously been kicking it with bailey. Bailey's been bailing all weekend. [00:23:22] Speaker D: I'm a huge chase rice fan, though. Huge. I saw him at the blue note in columbia, and he signed my phone case and I still got it. It was like ten fucking years ago. But, man, it's. I love chase rice. He just. He gets down too. He comes out and gets hammered. So that's what I like to do. [00:23:37] Speaker B: Keeping that bro country alive, giving that air alive. And then you're getting ready. Can we announce about the 615 stuff about getting out to nashville, tennessee? We were talking about it last week. [00:23:48] Speaker D: Yep. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be moving to nashville around October time, so we're gonna be doing a lot more shit with the razor outdie boys, man. It's gonna be fun. [00:23:55] Speaker B: Dude, you in Nashville is just gonna be electric. And you've gotten to experience that city a few times. Have these guys been out there with you? [00:24:01] Speaker D: No, not yet. You want to hear the craziest Nashville story? [00:24:04] Speaker B: Yeah. What you got? [00:24:04] Speaker D: We're in Luke Bryan's bar, right downtown Broadway. [00:24:07] Speaker B: Broadway. [00:24:07] Speaker D: Remind you we're with Luke Bryan's nephew. And we go in the bathroom and we see something like, wait, what the hell's going on? This dude is getting topped off by this girl who's like, six'five. [00:24:17] Speaker B: Oh. [00:24:18] Speaker D: And I have a video that went viral and all you can see is, like, her boots. And then it's funny. Cause she had the top comment was, I know a size eleven Justin ropers. When I see him, he comes out and we're all cheerful. Like, ten people in the bathroom because they're in the lock stall. And that dude, it was a hilarious damn video. But I was like, no way you're gonna do it in one of the busiest bars in Nashville on a Saturday night. But, hey, I got balls to do that, man. Have fun, man. [00:24:41] Speaker A: Nashville, you never know what you're gonna see. [00:24:43] Speaker B: It's a special place, and we've. I've gotten to see it grow. I've been. It'll be six years of me living there in October. So I've gotten to see it really elevate and grow. And to have folks like yourself that have the social media presence and just energy, it's like, it's the place to be right now. [00:24:58] Speaker D: Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. With me, like, loving country music and being a country boy, man, I don't think any words be better for me to future my career. Like robb my career. [00:25:06] Speaker B: So, yes, you'll dominate, dude. That'll be awesome. [00:25:10] Speaker D: And Dustin lives there, man. I love Dustin. Great, dude. [00:25:12] Speaker B: So lynch, what is partying with Dustin lynch? [00:25:15] Speaker D: Like, dude, sometimes he gets after it, sometimes he's got media and stuff. He's like, I'm gonna take it slow. But Clint, his merch guy, we get plastered, man. That dude is fun. [00:25:26] Speaker B: Shout out to the merch, guys. That's how I got my starting business, was being a merch guy. [00:25:29] Speaker D: Because y'all get to have a fun job, man. Y'all get to sling merch to hot. [00:25:32] Speaker B: Girls and get to get to meet everybody. [00:25:34] Speaker D: Exactly. [00:25:34] Speaker B: You're the first thing they see before the band goes on, kind of setting the tone. [00:25:37] Speaker D: And all the girls think you can get them backstage so they come right. [00:25:40] Speaker B: Up to you when honestly, you can't, you know, merch got your little man on the totem pole. But. But it's a good. It's a good look, it's a good appearance. And. And, yeah, dude, um, as far as. Also as far as festival food and, like, fair stuff, I know we have the access to catering backstage and the catering crews been awesome. Esther got down last night. I was blown. I was blown away. Esther, this amazing woman who runs the. [00:26:04] Speaker D: Catering backstage, something funny. She doesn't know my name. She just calls me shotgun. [00:26:08] Speaker B: Oh. [00:26:09] Speaker D: Every time she's like, shotgun, shotgun, you here? [00:26:11] Speaker B: Shotgun? [00:26:12] Speaker D: Here's she's getting down. We saw earlier. She's like, I feel rough today, man. [00:26:15] Speaker A: I bet her energy level was 100 at 01:00 a.m. shout out to whitey, though. [00:26:20] Speaker D: He is chef in it. [00:26:21] Speaker B: Dude, Whitey gets the job done, but. [00:26:23] Speaker A: You get salad fire. [00:26:24] Speaker B: Oh, dude. Yeah. When you're out at something like this, what are you eating? What are you consuming? Because you're a man of good taste. All right, we see it. [00:26:30] Speaker D: So what we found in Clinton, Iowa, there's a barbecue truck over here. It's called smoke and meat. I don't know what exactly it's called, but they got a slaw dog. That is unreal. We've had it. We've had being plenty between the last two weekends. We've had about seven of them. [00:26:44] Speaker B: Gotta get that slaw, dog. [00:26:45] Speaker D: They are unreal, man. [00:26:46] Speaker A: All right, we gotta go over and get those slaw dogs tonight. [00:26:48] Speaker B: Yes. We definitely gotta get some slaw dogs. [00:26:50] Speaker D: Tell them I sent you, man. And then her daughter was over there. She was probably eight years old, and she was a big fan. I took a picture with her, and she told me this week, and she, man, you made her week. I was like, man, that's cool. That's cool to be able to do that. I don't know why young kids are watching my videos, but, hey, thank you. [00:27:03] Speaker A: The Internet. [00:27:04] Speaker D: I don't. I don't claim to be a good influence. I'm a fun one. [00:27:08] Speaker B: Yeah, dude, that's what's cool, too. All the interactions that you get to have with folks that follow you in a small town like this, dude, you have a following all over the world. [00:27:16] Speaker D: It's pretty crazy. It's crazy, man. And to me, it's never really kicked in because my graduating class was 28 kids. I am from the stakes of the stakes of Missouri, and to be able to have over 4 million people follow me is absolutely crazy. [00:27:27] Speaker B: That's wild, dog. Well, brother, I appreciate you coming on. [00:27:29] Speaker D: Join us. [00:27:30] Speaker B: So I'll be on the main stage. Nick is going to be on the side stage, and we're doing some mc. Alex is going to be introducing Taylor Holder, who's a good buddy of yours. [00:27:38] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah. [00:27:39] Speaker B: So that's gonna be really cool. And then we're gonna. And then we're gonna have you. We're gonna have Alex on the stage at some point on the big stage. Then we're gonna have you shooting the t shirt cannon. [00:27:46] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:27:47] Speaker B: We had your shotgun at beer, and you're like, man, I can't do this white people shit. You spilled the beer all over, dude. [00:27:54] Speaker D: He did beat the other guy, though. [00:27:55] Speaker B: He did. Oh, yeah. [00:27:57] Speaker D: Mind you, that was his first ever shotgun in his life. [00:28:00] Speaker B: In front of 15,000 people at a music festival. [00:28:02] Speaker D: Memory I'll never forget. [00:28:04] Speaker B: I give you a lot of credit, my brother, but we're gonna have you on stage. The t shirt. We're gonna have the t shirt cannon going. Gonna be shotgun. And some cold ones. [00:28:12] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:28:12] Speaker B: And it's also our boy Kaden McGuire's birthday today. So. [00:28:17] Speaker D: Good old Kaden, man. [00:28:18] Speaker B: Lord knows what we're gonna end up doing with him at some point later this evening. So. [00:28:22] Speaker D: Kaden don't really get down like that, though. He don't drink. [00:28:24] Speaker B: It's his birthday, though. [00:28:26] Speaker D: Yeah, we'll see. [00:28:26] Speaker B: It's his birthday. [00:28:27] Speaker D: 21 shots for him. [00:28:30] Speaker A: We would just take one shot either. [00:28:31] Speaker B: Well, this thing. Yeah, but, um. But, brother, we appreciate the hell out of you guys. Can't wait for you to come out to national. We'll do one of these. [00:28:38] Speaker A: Keep us in a loop on that. [00:28:39] Speaker B: Yeah, dude. And we'll. We're happy to give you an. A full introduction to the local side. [00:28:46] Speaker D: Hey, I know a bar out there, though. There's a local bar. Santa's pub, man. Santa's pub. What's the three rules? Only cash, no disrespect to women. And what is the other one? [00:28:55] Speaker A: No cursing on the mic. [00:28:56] Speaker D: No curse, no beer on stage. [00:28:58] Speaker A: No cursing on the mic. [00:28:59] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:28:59] Speaker A: And they'll kick you off stage mid song. [00:29:01] Speaker B: And it's things inside to Sam's club. [00:29:04] Speaker D: Oh, yeah. Every place needs to be made. You see, some baseball stadiums are allowing it now. No football stage. Yeah. [00:29:09] Speaker B: Wow. [00:29:10] Speaker D: Like a smoking section now we're back. [00:29:12] Speaker B: In, like, 2002, bro. We're coming. Creed is on tour. [00:29:15] Speaker A: Eminem's dropping a new album. [00:29:17] Speaker B: Attitude era. Like it is. It is coming back, brother. [00:29:20] Speaker D: Trump's coming back. Yeah, yeah. [00:29:22] Speaker A: This year. [00:29:24] Speaker B: Wild stuff. But where do people go to follow you if they're not following you already? [00:29:27] Speaker D: Alex Holem on all social media. If you just go on TikTok and type in Wingman. That's what it is, man. [00:29:32] Speaker B: Hell, yeah. [00:29:33] Speaker D: Or just type in drunk motherfucker. [00:29:34] Speaker B: I'll probably pop up some boy. Uh oh. [00:29:37] Speaker D: Yes, sir. Make women come again. I've been trying for 28 fucking years, boys. [00:29:42] Speaker B: Oh, no. These degenerates. And they're fucking shit. [00:29:45] Speaker A: You guys have great shirts. Oh, my God. [00:29:48] Speaker B: Oh my lord. Well, this is a good place to wrap it up for sure. [00:29:51] Speaker A: Yeah, make sure you wrap it up, guys.
